I was recently hired to work at a hospital. Before admission, I was warned that the structure was precarious, there was a lack of inputs and the salary fluctuated due to frequent funding cuts. I would do the tiring and cruel shifts. I would spend the night taking care of patients, moving from room to room. This is something I can't complain about. I HAVE BEEN WARNED.

A broke, unemployed girl with a nursing degree who just can't seem to find a job... until she finds an ad in the paper for an insane asylum. The job is as a simple caretaker, so it's not exactly the height of what she could do, but it payed... surprisingly well, and offered a place to stay on nights she was too tired for the two hour drive between the asylum and her apartment. This book was inspired unfortunately by my personal disease and visits to the hospital. I started writing as early as my disease had happened but hope you like my work. The events that took place in the novel are based on real events but there is a dash of fantasy to them.
