The Wildfire virus, a plague upon the world that reanimates the dead. No human has been found to be immune, and a bite from someone turned will cause the virus to kill its victim. There is no cure. Well it's a good thing one of these things isn't quite true.
Puffer had driving behind a police car, on his way to visit his friends who were meeting up. Who knew a car accident caused by a roaming zombie would begin one hell of a feat of survival for not just him and his friends, but the allies he makes along the way.

The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead. The end of mankind has finally come, in the least spectacular way.
