Bakugou and Midoriya are childhood best friends who were separated when King Enji married Bakugou's mom. They meet again years later at Prince Todoroki's wedding. They cause a scene at the wedding, resulting in them faking a friendship to settle the kingdom.
Their friendship morphs into more as they get to know each other again. They must keep their romance a secret because it could ruin their lives if the king finds out.
