It is kind of funny how we can create a masterpiece when we are hurt. When we are overwhelmed with these overflowing emotions. How I wish I could write without any conditions. Conditions that I my self made to stop myself from writing to much/sharing to much.

Settling in the Dust
This is a collection of poems. All the threads of emotions I've dealt with sewn into one book. What was not initially posted in my Facebook page was published here. It was first read here. I believe it's a safe space. I go by the pen name Alethia Ivory. I'm a college student and an aspiring writer. There are lots of stories I want to bring into reality but for now, this is all I could do. I was so down to the point that a lot of painful scenarios clouded my mind. Writing became my safe haven. It helped me lose my grip on the things that kept on hurting me. And now, finally, I'm free!
