After being caught up in a murder wrap completely by accident, she seems tuff on the outside, but on the inside, she's running scared. And she's running not only from the police, but from a bad memory that keeps resurfacing, no matter where she goes or how far she runs. She needs to get away. Otherwise she'll end up in a situation just like before. It's a long journey, but it's not so bad when you've got people to share it with.

Up in New York, Dallas Winston and Laura Pierce became pretty close. They were best friends for who knows how long and Dal' finally got up enough courage to ask her to be his girl.
