Once something catches fire, there is no going back. Rody watched as the French bistro was engulfed in flames and smoke. It was as if the emotions were drained from him at that moment. Deciding to move on with his life and never look back was one of the few mistakes he had made.

This has a lot of angst, and does not have a happy ending. However, I plan to make another fanfic of these two later, that does end happily. I also plan to make a fanfic of Cold Front, a game made by the same creator as Dead Plate]
