This was the first poem about abuse. None of this has been experienced by me or anyone that I know. This was originally for my English class and I was told it sounded really good, so I thought I'd share it.

For as long as Evelyn could remember, her home has never been a safe place. With the constant threat of her mother's erratic behaviour, Evelyn is nothing more than her punching bag. But one day, she finds an abandoned poem left on a park bench, and with it comes Darren. Darren is everything Evelyn is not- unadulterated, raw and so unapologetically himself. As he draws Evelyn into a world she has never know before, the ties between them begin to tighten. I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. Somehow it feels like some sort of imaginary relief to my reality. As if, the pain I feel only exists until the words are free. Innocent Heart
"Stop it, just stop it, " he growled furiously at me, studying in disappointment "How many lies you are going to feed me now, after all, you have his blood, and blood always shows its color," he said while clenching his teeth His words felt like a knife in my heart, I felt so pathetic and low "Please ...." I pleaded to him "Get out," he said dangerously She was hired to defame him, to save her career and her loved ones, but she ended up falling so hard for him, and he falls in love with her at sight but what will happen when the, deeper hidden secrets, the lies, truth, the reality will come out, will their love be able to go through all these stages and win or they will get separated forever.Concluida

She broke his heart. She left him when he needed her the most. She was the most precious thing he'd ever had but to her he was just someone she passed time with. He swore off love and waited until the day she'd be at his mercy, then he'd make her pay for leaving him. She didn't want to leave him but she had no choice. He was her life Without him, she saw no happy ending. She made a choice that will forever haunt her but it was to save him. She prayed they never cross paths again, but fate will have it differently. Four years later and she has to answer to him as her boss. Four years later he meets the woman who mercilessly broke his heart. She's no longer the bubbly young girl he once knew. And he's no longer the sweet Angel she once loved. She was broken and He was a monster.Concluida
