Moebius Loop

Over 200 years ago, Sonic fought his final battle to end the war against Eggman. It took all of Mobius and the Sol Dimension to try and stop the crazed doctor. They failed, and the planet was forced into an ice age.

With no greater evil, and many of their heroic leaders gone, the worlds isolated themselves. Two centuries of isolation and rewritten history has made each planet enter their own poor state of affairs. And on a new world: Avalon, Arno Durandal; a man born from both Mobius and Avalon, now has no choice but to fight in a world war if he hopes to survive. In a war where the line between good and evil is blurred, can Arno rise above it all and be like the heroes of the past? Or will he just be a name on a list of young men sent to die for nothing?

-This fanfic is an alternate timeline story, taking place far in Sonic's future. Do not expect many direct references at the start.
