After another scream fest after she forgot to clean up after her father's alcoholism, she snaps. Saoirse packs a bag and leaves. Eventually, while running through the woods, she finds a peculiar rock...
Once she wakes up after touching the strange rock, she finds that she is not in her state, world, or universe. She plays along, thinking that she's just dreaming, but once she feels excruciating pain from being electrocuted by a certain green gem... She starts to doubt that.

This book has some triggers, which I will list in the first chapter. This book also has two Autistic/Autistic-coded characters; Saoirse and Peridot. I, the Author, am DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM. I also have been through the wringer with my own narcissist Father. So don't come after me saying I'm Ableist or Edgy when I actually have the disorder and the Trauma to back up my stories.

Garnet is a very quiet and mysterious girl. She doesn't have any friends, so she spends most of her time at the nursing home with her grandmother. She's very grateful for the love her grandmother gives her, but she's starting to want something more. A different kind of love. She never thought that anyone could give her that kind of love. At least not until she met Micah. Micah really likes Garnet, but she just doesn't believe it. Micah and Garnet become really good friends. Until feelings are revealed. This seems at first to be a delightful happening, but making friends in your new home turns out to be a more difficult task than you had imagined, and you are left feeling very lonely... until a surprise encounter with someone who shouldn't be up and about changes your life forever. I will attempt not to specify the gender of the reader's character, though I will use male pronouns if I do (before anyone complains, most such stories assume the reader to be female). I apologize if the story is boring or slow-paced - it is written as I would act, and I am not really energetic, violent, or extroverted. Do not anticipate any racy content beyond possibly some wordplay and innuendo, if that. Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
