I live in a world where the Gods and Goddesses have chosen humans as their soldiers to protect the world from sinners and demons alike. The Gods and Goddesses choose these men and women because of the courage and bravery they show on their faces, and the justice they seek in their hearts. We call these people the 'Chosen' and although they were seen as righteous people when they were first discovered, now they are feared by man for their devastating wrath on evil and the mysterious hoods they wear.
Being a boy working on my father's farm, I respected him, even looked up to him, and when my life takes an unexpected turn, he's the first person I turn to for help, but not the help I had hoped for. After turning me over to the Chosen, I fear for my life because of the sins that I have committed. But the world has plans for me so I must train rigorously and tirelessly to become my strongest for whatever challenges fate holds for me.
I'm an honest farm boy, but I do things that I must and commit sins everyday. Sins that the Chosen would kill me for.
My name is Dante.
I am a thief.
And I have been Chosen.

"Mother!" I called out, hoping for an answer. The screams of my people filled my ears. I felt tears go down my face as I begged for her answer. "Calliope! Big sister!" I cried, racing to the temple where I last saw them. Suddenly, I heard the chains of my father's weapon rattle. "Father!" I screamed, racing to the entrance of the temple and my eyes widened as I saw the horrific sight: bodies of the monks I used to play around with were slain and I saw as the hand of my mother's fall onto the stone ground. My big sister's limply looking leg was barely visible from the entrance. My eyes widened as I realized what had happened. I stared as the culprit began to mourn them and I glanced at my father's weapon, soaked in the blood of his victims. I was in shock, unable to speak, afraid that my father may kill me just like he did Mother and Calliope. I slowly backed away and threw down the necklace that father had crafted for me for that was no longer my father but a merciless murderer with a cold heart. Kratos. ******************************* My name is Adoni of Sparta, daughter of the Spartan General Kratos and the beautiful and strong Lyssandra. I had a sister named Calliope but... They're gone. My father killed them, traumatizing his other daughter as she ran away from the scene, afraid of her father, afraid that he may kill her in cold blood. Luckily, I was saved by the gods and goddess of my home, who have molded me into a strong, beautiful, fearless, intelligent and talented warrior woman. One who is perfect to take revenge on her father. Strong enough to kill him if needed but intelligent enough to get the answer to the question I desired to ask him: "Why did he kill our family?" #1 Ranking in #Sparta

[BLURB] "Well, now I'm back and I'm gonna drag you to court, you piece of shite," she said before passing a humorless chortle. "Do that and you're doomed." He sniggered, his manevolent gaze hurling obscenities towards her. "Oh yeah? How?" She rose a perfect eyebrow, animosity etched on each lineament. "Let's just say, I have something of yours that'll destroy you." The telltale monstrosity perceptible in his evil kingdom of eyes set a havoc inside her adrenaline rushing body but she held her grounds strong. "And what's that?" And there he showed her something that choked the life out of her frail body as she lost her balance in dizziness. ****** Love is elusive but sometimes it knocks right at your door but you're too arrogant to pay it any heed or maybe too scared to acknowledge it.
