And There You Were

Some of us get lost along the way and don't know which way to turn. We get stuck in the life we have and erroneously think we are solely to blame and burrow deeper into shame and regret. I was blessed to find someone who believes I am salvageable, and convinced me that I do, indeed, have worth. The words woke in me a need to be whole. I was urged to think differently and to go find myself. I wanted to fall madly in love, but knew I needed to find myself before loving another. Then I can return. To love wholly, fully, intensely.
