In the year 3025, America had fallen to the plague. The airborne virus that had been developed by the government to prevent population growth had mutated into a deadly strain, wiping out most of the population and leaving only a fraction alive. Those who survived had to fight for their survival, becoming known as Plague Runners.

These survivors had adapted to the new reality of infected America, learning to avoid the undead and scavenge for supplies to stay alive. But they were not alone in their struggle. The American government had set up cameras all around the infected zones and was live-streaming the activities of the Plague Runners to the rest of the world.

The government saw this as an opportunity to not only monitor the activities of the remaining survivors but also to showcase their strength and resilience to the rest of the world. The Plague Runners had become America's last hope, an example of the strength and willpower of the human race.

But as the Plague Runners fought for survival, they soon realized that something was not right. The virus had not only infected the living but also given birth to a new kind of being - the ghouls. The ghouls were former Stand users that had been turned into bloodthirsty monsters, driven by primal instincts to hunt and kill.

The Plague Runners now faced a new, even deadlier enemy, one that could evolve and grow stronger with every bite. But they were not without hope. Some of the surviving Stand users had gained new abilities, and these abilities gave them the edge they needed to take on the ghouls and fight for their survival in a world overrun by the undead.
