Alyra Diane Perez found herself in a place where lies, betrayal, and murder frequently occurred.

A place where behind those innocent smiles and whispers lay something sharp enough to shatter everything you believe in just a second.

Bound by a person she knew she could never fully trust-Elazar Raven Vasco-her kidnapper, who had a pair of red eyes just like the rest of his family, she had always planned for an escape after witnessing what he did to her family.

Yet when he confessed to her his intentions, she didn't know whether to believe or to ignore it despite him proving his words to her.

Especially, when the freedom she have always loved is now in danger to be stripped away from her forever.

So the question remains...

Will she willingly succumb to her new life in which deception awaits?

Or will she choose to put her last hope to the man she is finding hard to believe?
