- "We're truly a mess, aren't we?" -

Glory sighed. Yet another boring day of being queen. It had been five years since Luna killed Freedom/Lizard/Cottonmouth. She had two beautiful dragonets, her oldest, Firefly, and her youngest, Nighting Gale. Both of them were beautiful and she loved them so much.

"Mom!" Firefly called. Glory set the scroll down and walked over. 

"Yes?" Glory asked. Firefly's scales were a deep purple, with hints of yellow. She looked more like her father.

"Can we go on an expedition?" Firefly asked. Glory sighed and shook her head. Firefly looked disappointed. 

"Hold on. Maybe Kinkajou can take over for a day?" A smile came through Firefly's face. Her scales changed to a bright pink. She reminds me so much of Kinkajou when she was younger, Glory thought.

And destiny set it. Firefly's death was soon.

Glory smiled. She thought of the egg- she just had it. She could tell it would be a girl. Glory was so excited.

But that also meant she was unprepared.

Percy let out a loud, contagious laugh that echoed off of the cliff side. Aurora watched the years of stress and sadness leave his face as he tossed his head back, eyes crinkling with joy. Aurora soon found herself laughing as well, finding it hard not to when Percy was. They stopped and laughed for a while, Aurora's stomach cramping as tears of joy slid down her cheeks. But to fulfill the trickery, she had to let the married couple Moon and Qibli, as well as Turtle, Kinkajou, and Sunny in on her plan. They are all very good liars, but the question is: Can Glory keep her identity a secret? And if she accidentally reveals, what will become of the future?
