When Gregory is discovered by prying eyes, in an attempt to escape, he hides in Funtime Freddy - probably the most friendly-looking of the animatronics around him. Gregory never would have expected this hiding place to turn against him. Trapped within this homicidal children's attraction, he must choose his fate, now in the hands of Freddy and his own survival skills. If he can escape, what else awaits him in this new, darkened environment?
Basically, this is a combination of Security Breach and Sister Location, with a hint of Count the Ways. It's way more on the Sister Location side of things, but the comparison of a child being in Glamrock Freddy and Funtime Freddy was too good to pass up. It gave me a random idea, and thus, this fic was created.

On a sidenote, I made the cover myself. Quite proud of it, honestly.

DISCLAIMER: This is a fanmade novelization of the video game of the same name created by Scott Cawthon and the company Steel Wool Studios. This was made mostly to serve as a love letter to anyone who's grown up with FNaF since it debuted in 2014 and a thank you to Scott who is now retiring considering he's retiring from the franchise, game development, as well as his entire career so that he can spend more time with his family. Also, since this is a novelization, a few changes were made to the events of the game, such as adding in more information and removing unnecessary puzzles, to make it flow better in novel form. It's been a couple months since the events of what happened at the Mega Pizzaplex. Gregory freed Vanessa and she adopted him. Vanessa kept her job due to how much money she was making and how useful having that money was when taking care of a child. Vanessa is trying her best to take care of Gregory while still being traumatized herself. It's a process but hopefully she'll be able to heal, right? During the last month of school for Gregory he learned how to make flower crowns! This spirals to Gregory becoming fascinated by plants, specifically flowers as a whole and plans to give the animatronics a bit of nature since they aren't allowed outside the Pizzaplex. Or Gregory learns how to make flower crowns, goes to the Pizzaplex and is a chaotic child who gets bored easily and does research on flowers. He's determined to show the animatronics part of the world that they don't get to see. Meanwhile Vanessa still isn't over what happened while she was Vanny.
