Evil beings lurk in the darkness constantly following and tormenting the ones that dare to look into the darkness. There are bodies found all the time either brutally maimed or torn completely to shreds. The best thing to do for yourself was completely ignore the darkness or risk it pulling you in and devouring you. Annamaria was taught like everyone else to stay away from it ignore it that's the only way you will survive, but what happens when she becomes friends with a girl that is one of the ones that wants to give herself up to the darkness.
