Princess Cordelia resided in the enchanted land of Eldoria, which was surrounded by turquoise lakes and undulating hills. Her emerald eyes revealed a spirit that craved for adventure outside the castle walls, and her auburn hair cascaded like silk. In spite of the beautiful surroundings, Cordelia had a deep-seated urge to forge her own path free from the limitations of custom.

Cordelia's parents, King Richard and Queen Eleanor, decided that an arranged marriage would best ensure Eldoria's future as the heir to the realm. Prince Theodore, a neighbouring kingdom nobleman whose goodwill and intelligence preceded him, was the selected suitor.
