Initially, these creatures maintained their purity, but interspecies mingling soon gave rise to half-breeds. Purebreds, valuing their lineage, shunned these mixed creatures, yet the spread of half-breeds was inevitable. As society progressed, the prejudice against half-breeds persisted, even as a purebred's love for a half-breed inspired the creation of the first mixed city, Nova Fauna. This city, envisioned as a haven for both purebreds and half-breeds, set the stage for other mixed cities, each governed by unique laws and rules.

The early years of Nova Fauna were a golden age for half-breeds until purebreds overran the city, turning it into a fractured society. Prejudice and segregation took hold, with purebreds boasting unique "Primal Instincts" and half-breeds marked as lesser beings. This division was stark in Nova Fauna, where purebreds occupied the safest and wealthiest parts, while half-breeds were relegated to the outskirts or desolate areas known as the Stranded Zones. The dream of unity envisioned by the city's founders was buried under the dominance of purebreds, leaving half-breeds to fend for themselves in a city divided by wealth and power.

Despite these challenges, Nova Fauna established public services and a military structure to ensure its survival. The Nova Fauna Army, led by elite units like the K9 under Captain Massimo Solare, was known for its discipline and prowess. In a groundbreaking move, a marked half-breed named Clarissa was accepted into the K9, facing immense challenges in a predominantly purebred force. As tensions rise and an external threat looms, Captain Solare and the K9 must navigate their toughest mission yet, battling both external enemies and the deep-seated prejudices within their ranks.
