"He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Despite everything, Amelia and Avalyn decide to travel the universe, through time and space, with The Doctor, in his TARDIS. As time goes by, The Doctor starts to notice that Avalyn's eyes catch the attention of everyone they meet, and it annoys him that he can't figure out why. But with cracks in the skin of the universe appearing, The Doctor can't seem to find the time to work it out. Perhaps the cracks can provide more answers than The Doctor was expecting to find, opening up new posibilities that he could only ever hope for. ○~@~○ "I like your eyes." She stated suddenly, causing The Doctor to pause in his actions. "My eyes?" He asked her, an amused grin on his face as he kneeled down to her hieght. "What about them?" She decided to elaborate. "Sad and old and wise; full of impossible stories that hold millions of words. Cold with grief, while at the same time, warm with the kindness of a man that can do no wrong." Avalyn paused as The Doctor grinned wildly at her. "Oh, Pond..."
