This is gna slowly progress into an actual novel but so far I only have two chapters that I'm proud of so heheeee if u want to read it, go on! This 'chapter' could be a standalone short story, but I will be writing more chapters, very very slowly as writer's block is so... ew. The real story is probably going to be slightlyyy different as this chapter is just all of my ideas condensed into a sad semblance of a short story. David isn't one of the good guys, and he knows that. He's proud of that. It means that he will never sink down to the unfortunate level of disguising his evil with the ill-fitting name of good. But he's a liar all the same. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You cannot change my decision. I will not leave you, Ian. Not for anything in the world." "You liar." He whispered. "You'll leave me for an attempt to save me. That's part of anything." "I won't. I have learnt from my past experiences. If I leave, I may never see you again. That is not a risk I am willing to take." "Really?" He looked into my eyes. His eyes were a bright emerald green, just like what I remembered. "Really." I affirmed. "You really should leave..." He bit his lip again. I was definitely going to leave. "I will never." Stay. Cover credits: https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-fire-made-of-607313
