"His Angel" (Ghost x OC)
The fanfic takes place two years after the Modern Warfare III campaign. Follow our heroine, Sariah "Castiel" Samuels, as she finds her place in a foreign country and within her team. With all the crazy in the world, and with hope slowly dying, Castiel must rise up with her fellow task force members to defeat the world's greatest threat, Vladimir Makarov. Along the way, she befriends Gaz and Price, and slowly becomes part of the 141 family. Ghost, on the other hand, is not initially pleased with Castiel's arrival. No one can replace Soap, and he is almost offended that this smalltown, stubborn, American southern ex-pilot thinks she can ever try to replace him. However, perhaps there is more to her than meets the eye. Maybe she can finally teach Ghost to trust and care again and heal from past wounds. Trigger Warnings: graphic depictions of blood and violence, acts of terrorism, smoking, alcohol, self-harm and suicide, military inaccuracies, medical inaccuracies adult content, adult jokes, major character deaths, mentions of homophobia, religious themes, religious trauma, and lots of swearing. This story is thanks to my best friend who suggested we do a COD roleplay after the two of us were fed up with character chat bots being stupid. The story follows the events that took place in the roleplay with most of what you're about to read being the messages directly copied and pasted into this book (minus some format and grammatical changes, more cohesive character interaction, and additional scenes). In other words, I cannot take full credit, as the plot and the more interesting story and narrative elements were created by her :3
The Story of Midnight
"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?Complete

This is a dark romance story about a girl named Ashley. The story will contain multiple topics that may not be your thing, please read the trigger warnings before continuing. Ashley is a 24-year-old girl from the Netherlands. She is in her last year of college, where she studies programming. After a dare, she now helps people with their digital issues. The hacking jobs she gets paid for aren't too big, but it's easy money. Having to grow up in a toxic and traumatizing environment when growing up, has been a real challenge. With an abusive dad, who was both physically abusive as well as manipulative. He is a criminal, serving his time in prison after being caught dealing drugs and shooting a police officer. I was 14 years old when they arrested him. She always had a good relationship with her mom, even after the incident. The passing of my older sister as well as everything that went down with her dad, her mom turned to alcohol for comfort. And looking at her now, it's like staring at someone you don't know. It's only one more semester until graduation. The dream is to find a good job, and get out of her toxic environment. To start over somewhere fresh, away from her past. But things never go as you plan. Every Friday afternoon Ashley stays at this cafe 'Gracht' to work. But on this one Friday something happened which changed her life for good. She never planned to get kidnapped by the Mexican Cartel, or to work with the greatest task force 141. And least of all, did she not expect to find love there. !!!
