Black And White

Sixteen year old High school prodigy Hazel Blackthorn has already graduated high school and was accepted into the school of her dreams in Great Britain with GPA of a 4.0. She may be a genius but she is socially impaired and doesn't communicate well with other kids her age so her her parents decide to ship her off to until her eighteenth birthday to live with her Uncle Jimmy's home in the sleepy town of Oakview Virginia so she can communicate and connect with kids her own age. At first she refuses and begs her parents to let her go to school of her dreams. When she arrives in the old town she discovers secrets in her uncle's home and old resentments amongst the towns folk. A town where everyone knows everybody. The towns people themselves are very interesting and only see the world in black and white and aren't able to connect as a town. Then a series of murders begin to happen around the town. The towns folk ask Hazel to solve the series of murders. It's not as easy as she anticipated.
