Lord Featherington is dead. Penelope is out shopping when she first sees him. Her Father, looking very much alive.

"Dear Gentle Readers,

There is a creature a foot, I heed warning, be sure to all be in your homes before the darkness of night. Lock your windows and doors. I do not say this warning in jest.

There is a monster on the loose.

Speculation that it is a wolf and that it has already barred its teeth into the town gentle folk. I myself have seen a mere image of the creature and I speak to you in earnest. Be afraid.

This will be the last we speak for some time. Stay warm, the bitter cold and the bitter smell of death has revealed its ugly head. Stay safe, stay together and if you can, stay armed gentle readers. God Speed.

yours

"Deliciously captivating! It's the perfect amount of laughs, love and drama. You won't be able to put this book down!" - Grace K @ HQ. When Agatha becomes the Everard's governess, she's grateful for a way to escape her dark past. That is until her growing feelings for the mysterious Lord of the house begin to present an even greater risk. ***** The Everard's are one of the most esteemed families in Wickhurst. And Benedict, the Lord of Devonshire and the eldest of the clan, is as mysterious and brooding as anyone The Town has ever seen. His face is marked with scars, and no one dares to speak on how he got them. Known to all as 'the beast,' the townsfolk tremble in his wake. But little does he know that he is about to meet his match in Agatha Blair, his sisters' new governess. Agatha is witty, smart and gives him a run for his money when he tries to peel back the layers of who she really is. She truly intrigues him more than any woman he has met but she is a governess and he is a Lord. The Town would shun the union of two people from different stations and any romance between them is surely a recipe for social disaster! But what can they do when the burning hot feelings refuse to relent? And when Benedict uncovers that Agatha is hiding a secret far more dangerous than anything he could have imagined, will love save the day and will Agatha finally tame the beast? *This story is a standalone title in the Everard Family series. 5 parts Ongoing Mature

After five years away, the Bridgerton family revisits their tradition of spending the summer holidays at their ancestral home, Aubrey Hall. A lot has changed and with several new additions to the family, they haven't had a chance to properly spend time together. One constant, however, is Penelope, his sister's best friend, who is practically a member of the family. Colin hasn't seen her in a long time, and her presence now tilts his world on its axis and sends it plummeting into the abyss. Or the one in which: Colin's feelings smack him across the face like a fucking sledgehammer blow. His childhood friend has transformed into a walking goddess, and he struggles not to drool around her. Eloise thinks he is acting like a fucking idiot. Colin is, in fact, acting like a fucking idiot. He realizes he is a boobs-man. And God, it seems, doesn't give a shit (otherwise, Colin wouldn't be going through this, right?)
