Frederick/Friedrich Wilhelm I of Prussia. A man who is often seen as a bad leader due to his geopolitical decisions and failed policy which deepened the feud between his family of the Hohenzollern and the Holy Roman Emperors, a title claimed by the house of Habsburg. Often overlooked and in the shadows of his father Friedrich I, the great elector and his son, Friedrich the Great, most famous of all Prussian kings for his victory in the Silesian wars, his reformation of the army, his succesful partition of Poland and his patronage of arts and the spreading seed of the Age of Enlightenment. This is only a short summery of his fairly large internal successeswhich paved the way for his sons victory agains Poland and Austria.
