What begins as mutual disdain-her seeing him as frivolous and shallow, him seeing her as severe and joyless-slowly, almost imperceptibly, begins to shift. Across debates in class, awkward partner projects, and sleepless nights in the library, they begin to chip away at each other's walls. But the world is changing. Politics are fracturing. Traveling on the train with her sounds like a challenge- especially with Glinda's interesting behavior. But soon they find out they have more in common than you might think. - Glinda is heartbroken by the news with Fiyero. She soon has to take that sadness with her on the train to Oz- instead of her regularly scheduled crying dramatically in the bathroom.
