1965, what a year. A young girl named Clara Gertrude. Her family, the Gertrude's were the finest most elegant family in town. but they kept a dark secret. The Gertrude's were always perfect and polite.

The perfect house wife Donna Gertrude was the most polite, she had everything. She ran clubs to keep the blacks away from the white homes of her people. 

She ran the women's rights club, and was a very successful woman in cleaning and cooking, meanwhile her husband Benjamin was a very focused businessman and polite client. He was handsome and defined. He was the husband every woman wanted, but unfortunately Donna had already stolen his heart. 

Their son Arthur was smart and brave. He had perfect grades and was a fine gentleman in public and at home. Every girl at school wanted him. Then, there's Clara. Clara Gertrude was the quiet one in the family, never spoke much, always an outcast and never fit in with other kids.


Although Clara never wanted to be in the spotlight, her mother made her dress ladylike and look like the prettiest girl in school, of course she was but since she was so beautiful everyone liked her. Expect Cathy Willam.

Cathy William was the popular one before Clara. She was jealous of Clara's looks and popularity, "Why do people like her so much? I mean, she's only in the spotlight because she's pretty." She'd tell her friends at lunch time. "Well, she is a sight for sore eyes.." her friend Amelia Redwood told her staring gracefully at Clara.
