Isla was moving to Georgia. She wasn't fine with it, and she certainly wasn't keen about it. They had been evicted from their apartment in Florida and moving to Georgia with her grandma. She, her mother, her father, and her older brother, Gavin, packed up their things and moved. Isla's best friend, Carrie, wasn't much happy about it either. But somethings were just meant to leave behind. When they get to that old, country looking house, Isla realized that Grandma seemed to be much more fun that she thought. She loved to watch the sun drop over the horizon, kayak, and even write, one of Isla's favorite things to do. Plus, she gives great advice for moving to a new school and making new friends. But when a fire was left unattended in Grandma's home, they find themselves camping outside near a river. Isla realized the importance of nature and family who's been by her side her whole life. Maybe here in Georgia is much better than she thought. °•°•°•°•° This story is made by Katisawriter. This story is 18+ at times, so please beware. One last trip with her family before she goes to University. Her intentions for this trip were to spend every minute making memories and savouring the last moments she'd get with her family before she moved away. She did this, just not with who she had planned. In the Italian sun it's easy to make rash decisions and to have a lapse in judgement. Especially when a man, you've only just met, comes into play. When he's showing you the island and teaching you Italian, how can you not fall madly in love? With three weeks to spend, will she let herself fall head over heels for a guy she will most likely never see again, or will she stick with her former plan and come to her senses?
