Sunset in Georgia

Isla was moving to Georgia.

She wasn't fine with it, and she certainly wasn't keen about it. They had been evicted from their apartment in Florida and moving to Georgia with her grandma. She, her mother, her father, and her older brother, Gavin, packed up their things and moved. Isla's best friend, Carrie, wasn't much happy about it either. But somethings were just meant to leave behind.

When they get to that old, country looking house, Isla realized that Grandma seemed to be much more fun that she thought. She loved to watch the sun drop over the horizon, kayak, and even write, one of Isla's favorite things to do. Plus, she gives great advice for moving to a new school and making new friends.

But when a fire was left unattended in Grandma's home, they find themselves camping outside near a river. Isla realized the importance of nature and family who's been by her side her whole life.

Maybe here in Georgia is much better than she thought.
