There's a myth in Opulentia, the small village outside of the kingdom Aurum. Every one thousand years, a citizen is cursed with the ability to speak with dragons. Since the local village girl, Maeve, was born on the day the thousand year, and day as expected. Everyone in the town cursed, and called her a witch, threatening to burn her at stake when older. 

Maeve was now 20 years of age, her village had gotten attacked by bandits. Escaping to the Meridiana river, her eyes laid her eyes upon a White Wyvern.
