Efe is sentenced to prison, plunging him into a world of despair and misery. The screenplay delves deep into the struggles of a troubled teenager and the ripple effect of his actions on those around him. 
"Behind Bars" is a thought-provoking piece that sheds light on the everyday life of average teenagers surrounded by the school system, societal challenges that confront teenagers and how these troubled youth navigate through popular culture amidst a surfeit of options.
