Drunk and complacent or did he just not care anymore? He lost a lot and he's been drowning his sorrows in booze and gambling away everything he's ever had. Angeldust found himself worn thin. He left his father's mob thinking he could finally put himself first, only to realize the man he's been hooking up with had more than a few tricks up his sleeve. Being bound to Valentino, left him fighting for freedom again. If he had knownp the risks involved he would have just stayed complacent in his father's bullshit business. He found refuge at a ratty hotel he would have never resorted to if it wasn't free. It's got its disadvantages but if Val ever came here looking for him he knew he'd be okay. Strong topics such as Sexual assault, drug and alcohol abuse, self harm. Murder pretty much all the themes that Hazbin Hotel has.
