Adalyssa Coppermann was a just a normal girl who walked by the school corridors, unnoticed. But the man in her dreams somehow diverted her. She doesn't know how, why, or even when it happened, she just knew that there was something different about her. And she thinks she's the only one. Adalyssa soon finds out that she has a mission to save someone she never expected would need saving, but what she doesn't know also is that these missions are very dangerous. Along the way of her missions, she would always see this shadow following her and she would think that it was someone she knew. She soon finds out about the person who follows her and they go on a mission to look for the man in her dreams. But, as they look for the man in her dreams, they stumble into something that seemed familiar between the two of them.

After discovering one of the bodies, Lila suddenly becomes the new target of the killer. In between dealing with the secrets and dynamics of being a werewolf, the totally not cliche grudge between the vamps and werewolves, being the potential next murder victim of a mysterious and possibly non-human killer, and a hottie with fangs that she sometimes kind of wanted to make out with and other times wanted to rip his throat out, Lila was definitely going to have a totally normal, average life in this new town.Complete

But his crazy father decided to go experimental and see if werewolves can be created by an injection. However so, the injection hasn't been working. It's been taking the lives of those injected, and the council just tells the world that the poor delinquent just committed suicide. And now Reyanna, the newest guest, and Jake's mate arrives. His dad goes behind his back and injects her too, but something is different. It works. And no one knows why.
