After struggling with an autoimmune disease for so many years, what difference would an invasion make?   She plays their game. With the help of her neighbor, Damon, they conquer the challenges together while conquering their past, building their love as a motivation to survive.

Yet, surviving isn't easy with the aliens controlling their lives. 

Nina must decide:

Should she let the terrors of the invasion become her hellish reality? Or will she fight and become the monster the aliens want her to become?

Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. The very one that modern Human civilization is now built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.
