While dealing with an impending vote that could see werewolves expelled from the city, Calla and Rhys must come to terms with their growing connection in the face of their families' heartless decision to mate Calla with another man.

Calla Bardot, Luna of Sury's oldest pack, is working to mend the image of rival pack Apex after Apex's werewolves are accused of a series of crimes against humans. She expected the job to be challenging but never anticipated developing feelings for their sexy Alpha, Rhys Rawlings. Likewise, falling for the entitled Luna of his enemy pack wasn't exactly on Rhys's to-do list.

As their forbidden romance grows, so do tensions between shifters and humans. When anti-werewolf sentiment reaches explosive levels, werewolves are threatened with a vote that could see them exiled from Sury. When Calla's best friend steps forward as a member of a werewolf hate group, Calla and Rhys quickly realize their situation is dire. A sinister force is at work, but is it coming from humans or werewolves?

On the eve of an international werewolf tournament, with thousands of shifters set to descend upon a wary city, Rhys and Calla face another blow: their families have arranged a mating for Calla, and it's not to the man she's fallen in love with.
