"There's something...different about you." He whispers in my ear. A shiver goes down my spine. "And I will figure out what it is." He adds, turning to look into my eyes. I'm transfixed by his gaze, unable to look away. I feel scrutinized like he's trying to solve an equation hidden deep in my head. I'm incapable of responding as I stare back. Without another word and just a frown, he pulls back and leaves. I'm left wondering what just happened and who the fuck he is.

The Masquerade
Every year for the past hundred years, there has been a masquerade ball that was held where all wolves found their mates, in particular, Alpha Landon, a twenty-three year old that is the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.
