There was once a war that lasted 100 winters. one side held humans. the other, vampires. The two races have co-existed for centuries but could never seem to get along. that is until two kings decided that the fighting was enough and had a peace treaty. Many years past, and both species are thriving in their respected kingdoms, trading new technology with each other and more. There is a vampire prince who is at the rightful age to become the new king of vampires. there is just one problem, he needs a queen. Normally, this isn't a problem except the prince wishes to marry his fated mate. Finding one's mate is near impossible because a fated mate is only one person in the whole world. Y/n is the first born for the human kingdom, and they were tricked into going to a ball hosted just to find the vampire prince's mate. will they meet and fall in love, or will someone get in the way?
