Colby, a depressed, 16yo girl is living in Chicago with her parents and her older brother joe. Her life, like everyone else's has been ups and downs but unfortunately for her it's been down hill since her little brother,of only 6 years of age, dies in a car accident along with her auntie Caroline.
She becomes depressed and has dropped out of school due to bullying. Colby has been through a lot and had some terrible things happen to her but when her older brother, joe, introduces her to his friends, things begin to turn around for her.
