Anton Vitalli had grown up dreaming of making it to Hollywood's big screen - not as a star, but as a screenwriter.

Flash-forward a decade, and now he's in his late twenties, still living in NYC. Instead of the creativity he was hoping for in life, he works as a copywriter for a tasteless retail corporation. Things hadn't turned out exactly as he was expecting, but at least the bills were being paid, right?

But then came the chatbots, A.I., and software, and suddenly Vitalli's job is under jeopardy. Then the worst comes to pass, and he's fired as part of a massive national layoff. The reason, however, wasn't exactly what he'd been predictiing...

Enter LeafLink, a new way to explore, create, and play inside the digital landscape. But it's far more than just a replacement for the internet; if its creater, BioLink, can follow through on what it's promising, Anton's job is just the start. There's a hitch, however - the company seeks creative-types; people with imagination and talent for the arts. Anton jumps at the opportunity, unaware of the reason why he and the others have become LeakLink's missing piece...

The world of video games was fun, joyful, and endlessly entertaining. However, it was always an illusion-everything was fake in the end. Companies tried to create better games, but one surpassed them all. Immersition Company, the most powerful tech corporation in the world, developed a revolutionary video game. Despite its innovation, the company decided to test it first. Among the few people who applied for the trial, Max was one of them. Scientists claimed the test was complete. The probability of any error was just 0.001%. Anyone would have said the code was flawless. But reality proved otherwise. A catastrophic error occurred inside the game. Whoever died in the game, died in the real world. The job Max had always dreamed of became a digital nightmare. Now, he must face deadly trials, mind-twisting puzzles, and nearly impossible enemies. The only way out: collect all the shards scattered throughout the game. Max must change-or perish. Will he make it back to his world, or die lost between lines of code? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're interested in seeing the end of this story, use this link: https://app.glitchy.ai/sign-up?rid=152493. ?Highest #12 in '#technology' (17 June 2018)? ⚛ Highest #228 in Science Fiction (30 May 2018) ⚛ "It's alright." I waved my hand dismissively. "I'm allergic to bullshit." ♧♣♧♣♧♣♧♣♧♣♧ Maya Scoren is unique. But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. What makes them special, is also what makes them dangerous. Ripped from their normal, day-to-day,school life, family and friends with no warning, they find out who they are. And why they're alive. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden. Controlling CEOs, sensitive boyfriend, an obssessed boss is just the tip of the iceberg. And I'm not even touching the problems at her school. Will all this unwanted attention put her in trouble? Author's note: this was my first story ever. It has no proper plot or story but it's fun to read! Also, lots of typos. And grammar mistakes. Tons of them. Tons. You have been warned. (Actually not that many but you've still been warned)
