A traumatic relationship and failed childhood family has left Samantha Bridges to scramble at re-setting her life. In spite of re-building a budding career as a Social Worker by helping children find trust and love in their own futures, she begins to think about her own life.

The only survivor of her home life, Samantha struggles with giving into faith and the turmoil that comes with believing a God with all the pain. After spending twenty-eight years taught by the world around her, Samantha questions all that she knows and loves.

In the sheriffs department is where a friend works. A friend who has spent his whole life planting seeds for God. Trevor Adams is the example of a Christ centered man. In spite of his first reaction to the skittish and often invisible Samantha, Trevor feels a connection and a calling from God.

The only Christian in his home, Trevor makes a pact to never leave someone behind and help them grow in faith first. After spending thirty years exposed to the world around him, Trevor embraces all that he knows and loves.
