Torrent was a young, misguided SeaWing with a hope of seeing above. After the Summer Palace was destroyed during SkyWing bombing, he longed to see the surface again.
Bound by his mother's claws and pinned down by royalty, Torrent needs to decide:
Escape the Kingdom that bound him to rules?
Or stay with his family..the dragons who had kept him safe and alive during the war of SandWing Succession?
None of the options were pleasant, but the young dragon must choose..
After escaping, he meets four other dragonets, almost exactly like him..or were they?

This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. However, when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel finds himself on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when something starts to pull the strings on his mind and the world around him, it's clear something much more sinister is on the horizon. As such, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to choose. Whether living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within the story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. Hybrid
WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though.
