When she turned thirteen she went to live on Crescent Island with her grandfather but she hid from the world wearing a mask and hiding. Then she met the Avatar and her granfather sent her with them. She thought that their fight was already over that her father had won and that she would never have a real place to call home and be safe, until she meets the Water Tribe boy. Years before the Siege of Ba Sing Se, General Iroh discovers a young girl among the remains of a decimated Water Tribe village. Raised in the heart of the Fire Nation, she grows close to the young crown prince and accompanies him and Iroh on their adventures. ________________________________________________________________________________ **This is an old story I had written in my head years ago when the series was still on Nickelodeon, and most of what I had originally written out was dialogue, so I apologize for any lack of detail or imagery-I don't have much time to devote to it as I'd like. I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. Also, I understand a lot of readers don't like stories that follow canon. This one does follow the show for the most part, but eventually digresses, follows, and digresses again. An Air Bender from the Western Air Temple never having the chance to find balance within. She never knew how she managed to survive all these years, hiding from the Fire Nation but she still remained a nineteen-year-old girl. Fire Lord Ozai discovered her Air Nomad origins and he imprisoned her for three years. She got to meet the royal family before it was broken. When she managed to escape she ran away to the Water Tribes. She had been there ever since, protecting the defenseless people from the ruthless Fire benders as well as her bending. A new Air Bender appears, and it didn't take long when a Fire Navy ship arrived the deserted icy lands of the South. She will once again become the Fire Nation's prisoner but this time, in Prince Zuko's ship and things will never get back to normal. ~~~~~ I do not own the Avatar: The Last Airbender I only own the new character and some changes in the plot.
