Grace Hernandez had a normal life, well, as normal as normal for her can get. Everything was fine, school was boring but other than that, life was good. She had the best boyfriend anyone could have wished for, James. That was true, up until a year ago. Things started to go downhill for Grace in a blink of an eye. She was abused, hurt, and manipulated by someone she thought she was safe with. Some people just aren't what they seem. At one point, everything just gets to be too much for her, so she even goes as far as trying to take her own life. When that fails, her parents decide to take her to therapy to help cope with her problems. There, she meets Asher, a lovely kind, and pretty hot guy. But just like everyone else, he has secrets. When they become close, Grace finds out some truths, and Asher finds out some truths about Grace. They build this great relationship with so much trust, safety, and even love. But when James finds out, he gets jealous. So will he leave them alone? Or will he make it his personal mission to make sure Grace never gets away from him again?
