Seventeen-year-old Daisy Rios is the heiress to the throne of The Mystic Kingdom but due to her Earthling origins, she must prove that she is worthy to become the current Queen's successor. For that very reason, a test is set in place to prove that she's a true fairy. Assigned to help a chosen candidate find their true happiness, to succeed, Daisy must not break the following rules: - Don't tell anyone she's a fairy; - Don't fall in love. For years she has fought to be accepted by the mystic people and this test won't destroy her plans to become a queen. On paper, the test looks simple, but when her chosen candidate turns out to be a wealthy family with seven siblings, Daisy isn't sure she can help them without falling for their charm. Being a queen is her greatest dream, but she never thought the path toward that dream would be more challenging than she ever imagined. An ONC '24 entry based on prompts 24 and 36.

Book One of Four in the Secrets Among Friends Series Hayzel Montenegro is a sarcastic, chaos-leaning seventeen-year-old who insists she's totally over her first crush-Damian Moore. He's her frenemy. He's her brother Hayze's best friend. And he's the last person she wants to admit still gets under her skin. After her last relationship, Hayzel quietly developed her own commitment issues, even if she won't admit that either. She keeps her secrets close-especially the one involving Damian, their history, and the real reason they turned into enemies with tension. Can she forgive him for what happened between them... or are they stuck like this forever? Damian Moore is a troublemaking, flirt-heavy, sometimes-jerk, sometimes-sweet disaster of a seventeen-year-old who swears he can't stand Hayzel. He annoys her on purpose. He pushes her buttons for sport. He claims to dislike her-but the way he softens around her says otherwise. He's got his own issues, and to absolutely no one's surprise... one of them is Hayzel. Can they untangle the mess between them? Or are they destined to keep colliding and crashing? The only way to know is to dive in. Mature rating is exaggerated! But, 16 an up. I suppose
