The holidays are over, but the murders aren't.

Lieutenant  Christina MaCaw is a formidable figure in the Los Angeles Police Department, heading up the Special Taskforce Unit with an iron hand. She's seen it all, from gruesome murders to high-stakes hostage situations, but nothing could have prepared her for the series of bizarre killings that have been plaguing the city since Christmas.
