Welcome, ladies and gentlemen! You are about to hear about our annual award contest, The Small Writers awards! Written with much effort and love, our mission is to promote small writers who have received a small amount of notice and want to be supported. It's your time to shine!
***
The story starts in the fall of 2022, where Rebecca came up with the idea of an award contest on Wattpad. As it was planned, the awards were about to be named "The Sparkle Awards", but later on the author changed the name to "The Small Writers Awards". With over 50 participants and 900 views, our first attempt into making a special competition was a success..but not for too much time. In march 2023, Rebecca took a long hiatus from Wattpad and discontinued the awards due to family problems.
Rebecca made another award contest in August 2023, which was also discontinued due to the author loosing her account.
This year will not be the same. This is a new, modernized and redesigned version of our awards. Welcome to The Small Writers Awards─2024!

Miraculous One-Shots
☛ Hi there. Welcome to the progression of my writing style and expanse in grammar. This book has been an ongoing experiment and attempt to improve my skills, and so far it seems to be working. So, stick around, why don't you? You never know, you might enjoy some fluff, be upset over some angst, or be introduced to new concepts! - ❥ mild cursing ❥ LGBTQ+ content ❥ a LOT of shipping ❥ attempts at aesthetics ❥ genres such as fluff, angst, adventure, romance, or fantasy ❥ cringe that progresses over time - ☛ One-shots are typically 1K+ words long and revolve around ships, prompts, challenges from Amino, or other ideas that I've had. I try my best to be unique and always put forth the best work I can. (🤡) - ☛ If you do read this, even just for a moment, thank you. I really appreciate your time more than words can explain. -Nutcase Started: November 26, 2018 Ended: February 2, 2021 1K reads: May 3, 2020 2K reads: February 2, 2020 8k reads: January 15th, 2021?? Caught In Your Chaos ✓
| WATTPAD INDIA AWARDS 2021 SHORTLIST | Like a moth to the flame, Amy finds herself drowning in Jake's chaos, and it doesn't even make sense how she's ready to do anything to see that sun-kissed smile on his face. She is his peace when he is everything that sets her heart and soul in a hurricane. And just like that, all her plans to have a peaceful college life go down the drain. The moment she looks into his black orbs, she finds herself losing in the hands of a guy her mom strictly forbade her to get involved with ever. Who knew four years of college life would become everything she should have never sought for, but also, something she always wanted to, with all her heart. Jake is stubborn, arrogant, and a lot more mysterious about himself than Amy can handle. He is also passionate, an artist with a paintbrush that can create masterpieces and depressed in ways no one bothers to know, except Amy. Amy is undeniably attracted to him. But Jake harbors enough regrets from the past to never seek the light Amy has to offer. Amy slowly manages to break through the walls of redemption Jake has created around himself. But she can never change the fact that our mistakes run deep than any other feeling. When shadows of past mistakes start drowning Jake into a dark pit of chaos, Amy might be his one chance to seek light, his silver lining, and love that can heal the ugliest of scars. But is he willing to heal? Or is it simply too late for him? Cover by @krisstheticComplete

|WATTYS 2022 WINNER - HORROR| Shawn, a convicted criminal, never thought she'd see the sun again, let alone call another star system her home. When she's offered an out from her prison sentence, she embarks on a dangerous interstellar expedition along with 18 of Earth's most intelligent criminals. Their task is to set up a base on a supposedly habitable planet and prepare it for colonization. Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface. [][][] This was originally my entry for the 2021 Open Novella Contest, and it received an honorable mention! It has now been expanded into a full length novel. I used prompt number 53: "When wildlife starts rampaging, all the humans are forced underground. However, they come to a terrible discovery that being underground is no safer than being on the surface."Complete
