A life writing about (and possibly committing) petty crime and chasing stories about future congressmen involved in the mob wasn't exactly what Emerald Grace ever wanted. How was she supposed to repay the debt she owed, when she didn't have the means to save the world?
But one night, after pleading with the universe to give her a chance to heal from the past she had to hide, she wakes to find herself with all the tools to save the world she could have asked for - she wakes and finds herself on the TARDIS, face-to-face with her favorite character from her comfort show. This is more than a dream come true: she can finally start repaying her debt in earnest. And there are better mysteries to solve now: How did she slip into the universe of Doctor Who? Why was she there? And why, when this was the first time they'd ever met, did the Doctor recognize her?
Emerald is in for a lot of adventures, a lot of meeting favorite characters, a lot of meeting least favorite enemies, and most of all - both of them are in for a lot of healing.
