Areth was an elf everyone hated. Hated so much that she was tortured for just being herself. After seeing her parents killed in front of her, she escapes. She now lives in a forest with her animal friends. Everything changes when she gains a bond with a man, a wizard, and most importantly, an elf. She is put into grave danger when her true identity is known to Sauron, who wants her power to win the war. It is the final battle. She either sacrafices her soul to save Middle-Earth, or she stays sane and Sauron wins.
-Note from author- So when it says 'soul' and 'sane', i'm basically saying what would happen to her is basically like if you got kissed by a dementor, for all of those Harry Potter fans. Hope you enjoy my story!

Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. At a young age she decided she would give her life purpose by swearing an oath to protect the Falmari people, she would become a warrior and fight alongside her brother to protect her people from the threats of middle earth. A routine patrol escalated and Aearon soon found herself separated from her brother and the rest of the Teleri forces, pursuing a group of dark creatures that tormented her lands. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. Either way, she will do whatever it takes to keep her word and help her friends while avoiding another stay in King Thranduil's dungeon, much to his displeasure. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you.
