In a small town in Indiana, Robin Buckley's worst problem is trying to keep the secret of her sexuality under wraps. It's the most obvious decision, seeing as Hawkins is a pretty conservative town, being the 1980's and all. But at the same time, she longs for a connection. Her second biggest problem is Amber Scott. A mean loner with chronic resting bitch face and a short temper, who seems to have it out for Robin after having a poorly timed prank played on her. But maybe these two troubled teens will find common ground after realizing they have something in common.
