We were sent to "take care of business" as my partner would say, by the Canadian government to arm a Nuclear bomb to annihilate a serious threat to the existence of life on earth as we know it. A few months ago a crazy scientist got the idea that playing with genetics would be a smart thing to do. Little did he know that that would lead to him creating a weapons that's so dangerous it could kill us all if we don't destroy the place of its origin, Alcatraz labratorys. He created a genetic crop dust that could turn plants into poisonous ones and some even spewed gas that killed the remaining surviving plants. It doesn't just kill plants but all other life as well and if we fail, earth is a goner.

With everyone I care about dead, all I can do is focus on Survival finding Food, Fresh Water and Keeping away from the dangerous groups of Reluquos. After the Disease that killed off the Majority of the world finally deceased it left the world a Hostile and Dangerous place. With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....

To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high.
