****

Three people-two women and an old man-were left in the middle of a desert as a punishment for a grave crime each of them committed against the kingdom of Akkadiyah. However, the youngest of them, Salwa, woke up in the desert unable to recall the memory of her previous years. She had no idea why she was banished by a foreign kingdom, except for a key in her pocket that could solve the mystery.

They wandered through the desert, learned how to survive in the harsh weather, befriended the Bedouins, and eventually reached the nearest living city with the help of a camel driver. Pieces of memory started to return to Salwa as they ran into a group of warriors defending the city from the same tyrant that banished them.

As Salwa's memories began to clear the fog in her mind, she began to grow suspicious of her two companions. However, there was one thing they agreed on: to rise stronger than before and make the tyrant regret ever banishing them.

Nikki Langley was on a journey of discovering herself, as she followed Hussein Abdul, aka Agent Cobra, in his footprints through Dubai, which she had discovered through his books, written by Sam Walker. It was supposed to be her first big adventure without her guardian breathing down her neck. The minute she arrived in Dubai nothing is that simple, attempted bagsnatching at the airport brought two men into her life. Two men who will change her life forever, and perhaps give her the freedom she craves for. A life of her own. Never expecting it would put her in danger. Having a target on her back. Kharyri al-Imad lived a double life one as a royal head, the other as a writer, aka Sam Walker, only one knew the truth, his most trusted man, his muse and named the hero after him, Hussein. Also had a duty to his people and country and needed to find a suitable wife, and have an heir to secure their future. That didn't include an Australian with a camel backpack who was way out of her depth and happened to turn up everywhere he went. Trouble followed behind her. He couldn't leave her to defend herself, it became obvious someone was trying to scare her. Only to find out she was his number one fan, which could complicate things and could never find out who was as the writer. He had a book to finish, protect her from some unknown enemy, yet wasn't a hundred per cent sure if he wasn't the target, especially when she was threatened in his own country. Has a past betrayal come back to haunt him? Can they come out of this together from the other side and unscathed? And find what they have been looking for that could be right under their noses. Each other.
The Memory Auction by xxxxxxxxxyzsam
19 parts Complete
In a dystopian bazaar that exists outside time, people trade memories like currency. You can sell your happiest moment to buy a skill, or auction off your heartbreak to erase someone else's. But the more memories you lose, the more your identity fractures-and some traders aren't even human anymore. Chaotic Structure: Each chapter is written from a different memory's point of view. Time jumps erratically-sometimes forward, sometimes backward, sometimes sideways. Characters forget who they are mid-scene and start behaving like someone else. The narrative is interrupted by "memory glitches"-pages with corrupted text, missing words, or surreal imagery. The climax is a bidding war where the protagonist tries to buy back their childhood, but someone else already owns it. Main Character: A girl named Kira, who wakes up with no memories and a receipt for something she doesn't remember buying. She's determined to find out what she sold-and why it was worth everything And Aarav, Role: The Memory Broker Backstory: Aarav was once a neuroscientist who tried to cure his sister's amnesia by experimenting with memory transference. When the experiments went wrong, he lost his own memories and became a broker in the Bazaar-trading fragments of identity for survival. He now wears a mask made of old receipts and speaks in half-remembered proverbs. Personality: Mysterious, philosophical, and emotionally guarded Speaks in riddles and metaphors, but occasionally breaks into raw vulnerability Has a soft spot for Kira, though he pretends it's just business Conflict: He holds the key to Kira's lost childhood-but selling it might erase his last connection to his sister. Their destinies are tangled in a web of forgotten truths, and only one of them can reclaim what was lost without losing themselves.
