❝You'll always be the Golden Boy, but deep down, you're just an empty trophy.❞ **** Natalia Winters knows all about second place. For years, she's been clawing her way to the top-meticulously planning, studying until her vision blurs, and sacrificing sleep for success-all to keep up with everyone else's effortless brilliance. She's the girl who never feels good enough, who measures her worth against grades and achievements, who works twice as hard just to avoid falling into the void of mediocrity. And at every step of the way, there's Noah West: her lifelong rival, her mirror image of perfection, and her greatest source of frustration. Now, as senior year hurtles toward its finale, Natalia is determined to prove she's more than second best. But when Leo Martinez-Noah's best friend and the kind of charming that feels effortless-enters the picture, Natalia starts to believe she might deserve more than a life spent measuring up. Caught between her relentless drive for success and feelings she can no longer ignore, Natalia must face a terrifying truth: what if the perfection she's chasing isn't what she wants? And what if the boy she's spent years trying to outshine is the one who truly sees her? _______________________________________________________________________________ Start Date: 05.05.20 End Date: 29.05.20 Word Count: [[90,000-100,000]] #1 in TeenFiction 12/09/20 #1 in Abuse 09/11/20 100.000 Reads: 17/10/20 200.000 Reads: 12/06/21 240.000 Reads: 27/09/24

All that high school junior Ellie Morris-Whittaker wants is to play division one soccer in college. Good thing she has a full ride to a super-prestige prep school, right? But her history grades are tanking, and losing her scholarship means bye bye prep school. Enter her new tutor, William - the hot student council president she can't stop thinking about. And even though he's kinda-sorta dating someone else, it's pretty clear he's also kinda-sorta crushing on Ellie. It's her own personal purgatory, until William's troublesome, varsity star striker brother Theo proposes a solution: a fake dating ruse. Too bad Theo's annoying AF and definitely not worth Ellie's time. But when Ellie's almost benched for good, Theo's pretty much the only one whose pointers can help win her spot back. And the more Ellie gets to know Theo, the more she realizes that she might've crushed on the wrong brother. Worse, she might actually be falling for the guy she was only supposed to be fake dating...
